Yusuke Ohashi 大橋 雄介

Born in Fukushima, Yusuke had worked for Recruit Management Solutions and Sendai/Miyagi NPO Center. He founded the NPO Asuiku quickly after the 3.11 Earthquake in order to solve learning delay problems in the affected areas. He decided to support the education of children in poverty while he was conducting his research on family poverty issues in Japanese society.

Seiko Kato 加藤 せい子

「子ども自ら生き生きと育つ環境づくり」を目指して、大人の生きる後ろ姿を見せることが大切だと思い、大人自らが夢の実現をするお手伝いをしています。
震災後には、岡山県で実践していたコミュニティづくり手法「みちくさ小道」を用い、被災地で活動開始。保育士・幼稚園教諭・産業カウンセ ラーの資格を持つ。
内閣府地域活性化伝道師、総務省地域力創造アドバイザー。

My Wakuwaku! 人と話しながらアイデアが生まれた時。
Born in Hiroshima, Seiko founded Kibino Kobo Chimichi in 2008 with the purpose of establishing a project-based NPO and introducing women’s perspectives into community building. She believes that in order to create an environment for children to live their life fully, adults have to show how they make their dreams come true.
After the 3.11 Earthquake, she started her projects in Tohoku utilizing her community building method “Michikusa Komichi (a little detoured pathway)” which she has had practiced in Okayama.
Seiko is a certified nursery school and kindergarten teacher, and also holds an Industrial Counselor license. She is also a speaker for the Cabinet Office’s Local Revitalization project and an advisor for the Local Empowerment project for the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications. Her favorite word is 卒啄同時/ Sottaku Douji (the mentor gives advice to his apprentice at the right time and leads him for his own breakthrough).

Cesar Santoyo サントヨ セサール

Born in the Philippines and after working for a governmental organization, Cesar became a missionary and founded a credit association for local residents. He came to Japan in 2002 and started the teacher education programs in 2006 in which 500 teachers were trained to give lessons at their own home in their own district. After the 3.11 Earthquake, he had founded an evacuation center in Tokyo and supported the Tohoku evacuees. In 2012, Cesar was awarded a prize for his efforts from a TV station in Philippines.

Executive Director, Whole Earth Nature School Fukushima
オーストラリアでの2か月間無人島生活から己の生きる力の無さに愕然とし、ホールアース自然学校へ。2011年、富士山本校にてリゾートホテルとの連携事業、新人教育を行う傍ら、東日本大震災の復興支援活動に従事し、2012年秋に福島校を設立。
子どもたちとの自然体験活動をはじめ、自然と人との距離感を一緒に考えながら、地域に自信と誇りに満ちた、現代を生き抜く生き方の実践と次世代の育成に取り組み中。悩むことは生きること。

Born in Fukushima in 1985, Yuki had graduated from Fukushima University School of Education. After volunteering as a Japanese teacher in South East Asia and living on a deserted island in Australia, he joined the Whole Earth Nature School. Since then he has developed and implemented 300 nature programs and local culture experience programs per year. In autumn 2011, he founded a branch school in Fukushima where he has been creating new projects.

Born in Ibaraki in 1980. Daigo has obtained a certificate to become a physical therapist in 2009. In December 2011, he moved to Ishinomaki city from Saitama prefecture and started his support projects. He launched his program after one of his clients had passed away from Immobility Syndrome caused by the situation after the disaster. He started a conversation with his colleagues which led to their current project models. In January 2013, Daigo has founded LiPlus and started implementing projects in May.

2013年:内閣府 社会雇用創造事業 社会起業インキュベーション事業で被災地復興のビジネスモデルが認定され地元で起業
2013年:特定非営利活動法人 GIFTHOPEを立ち上げる

Kota founded the NPO GIFTHOPE and established its service development and organizational structure in order to connect small NPOs and designers throughout Japan.
In 1996, he had joined a local TV station, and in 2007, transitioned to a film production company in Tokyo.
In 2013, his Tohoku revitalization business model was certified by the Cabinet Office’s Job Creation and Social Entrepreneurship Incubation Project, and Kota has launched the NPO GIFTHOPE.
